Data deletion request
Free of charge. Completed within 30 days.
Mahjong Therapy does not use accounts. Your data is linked to pseudonymous identifiers of your device, so we need a few details to find it.
How to request deletion
- Send an e-mail to privacy@meanwhilexgames.com with the subject "Data deletion request - Mahjong Therapy".
- Include: the name of the Game, your platform (Android) and your installation ID (see below). Optionally add your device's advertising ID.
- We confirm by e-mail and complete deletion within 30 days.
Where to find your installation ID
Open the Game, then Settings, and copy the "Installation ID" line (available from the version that introduced gameplay recording).
If you cannot find the ID, send the request anyway with your platform, approximate install date and device model. Deleting data we cannot link to an identifier may not be possible; in that case replay data is removed automatically after 90 days, and you can reset your advertising ID in your device settings (Android: Settings > Google > Ads).
What is deleted
- Gameplay replay data (records of your moves in levels) stored in our Google Cloud database, matched by installation ID (the Firebase app instance ID or the random installation ID, see the Privacy Policy, section 3.2). Rows still in the write buffer are removed within about 90 minutes of the request being processed.
- Analytics and attribution data held by Google Firebase, AppsFlyer and DevToDev for your identifiers; we send deletion requests to these providers (Firebase user deletion, AppsFlyer OpenDSR, DevToDev deletion request).
- Locally stored game progress is on your device only: uninstall the Game or clear its storage to remove it.
What may be kept
Aggregated and anonymous statistics that cannot identify you, and data we must keep by law (for example purchase records held by Google Play or the App Store).
Automatic deletion
Replay data is deleted automatically 90 days after it was recorded, even without a request.
